The University of Cincinnati (UC) will welcome The 86 Coffee Bar onto campus at the beginning of the spring semester. The new location will take the place of the current CCM Starbucks and open in January 2024. The CCM Starbucks will close over Thanksgiving break and will not reopen.

“We were not expecting this collaboration, but we are excited for the opportunity to become more connected to campus and become a part of student’s lives," Chris Human, General Manager of The 86 said.

On Sunday, Aug. 20, two vehicles were stolen from Campus Green Garage at the University of Cincinnati (UC). UCPD suspects the first vehicle was stolen between 4 p.m. on Aug. 20 and noon on Aug. 21, and the second vehicle between 8 p.m. on Aug. 20 and 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 21.

UCPD Assistant Chief Dudley Smith said, “We believe it is a coincidence that it was just Campus Green Garage. There is nothing special about the garage that makes it more susceptible than another garage.”
